Our three-day VTCT accredited Holistic Facial course is perfect if you are looking to extend your skills in massage. This course will enable you to fully understand the skin, with knowledge on products and routines and how they will benefit certain skin types.

Not only will you learn the traditional, well-known routine of cleansing, toning, and moisturising, you will be able to incorporate facial massage into the treatment so that it is relaxing and nourishing.

You will steam when it is safe to do so, extract blackheads, and learn how to work with congested skin.

Many therapists go on to develop their facial provisions, in areas such as microdermabrasion and facial electrotherapy. We also offer this as a Level 3 course!

On this Level 2 course you will be taught:
  • How to set up your area for the treatment
  • Consultation with a client
  • Which tools to use and how to use them
  • About improving skin condition and maintaining it using exfoliation, skin warming, comedone extraction, facial massage, masks, and moisturising products
  • Anatomy and Physiology relating to the skin and the face
  • Health and Safety
Some key information:
  • Internationally recognised qualification
  • Small group training
  • Professional level
  • Ideal for people interested in a career change to massage and holistic therapies
When is the next course?

Our training centre at Cheltenham School of Complementary Therapy and Beauty is based in the heart of Cheltenham, which makes it easily accessible from surrounding areas like Bristol, Bath, Oxfordshire, and Worcestershire. For those travelling further afield, there is a Holiday Inn Express just down the road, and a Premier Inn in the Brewery Quarter, plus car parking nearby if needed.

How much would the course cost?

This three-day course costs £549, plus an additional charge of £40 which goes directly to VTCT as Level 2 Award in Infection Prevention. This will be a prerequisite to the course.

What happens after?

As this course is VTCT accredited, it is recognised globally and will allow you to be employed in a clinic, salon or allow you to set up your own business. May you wish to progress to other beauty elements, this level 2 course is the perfect steppingstone.
