Facials (VTCT level 2) – Cost of course – £549

A 5 day course running during the day between 9:30am and 4:30pm.

 

During the course you will learn:

*How to set up a treatment area
*How to consult with a client
*What tools to select and how to use them
*About maintaining and improving facial skin condition using exfoliation, skin warming, comedone extraction, facial massage, mask treatments and facial moisturising products
*Anatomy, physiology and pathologies, relating to skin and the face
*Health and safety

Emergency First Aid at Work (FHT accredited) – Cost of course – £110

First Aid Training CheltenhamJoin us for our next First Aid course on Thursday 19th March between 9:30am – 4:30pm.

 

 

 

 

An invaluable qualification for anyone – the Emergency First Aid at Work training is a one-day course that covers:

  • Minor injuries like cuts grazes, minor burns and small splinters,
  • How to deal with someone who is suffering from shock
  • Someone who is bleeding or wounded
  • Someone who is unresponsive
  • A casualty who needs CPR and how to use an automated external defibrillator
  • Someone who is choking

Indian Head Massage (VTCT  Level 3) – Cost of course – £425

Indian Head Massage Training Course at Cheltenham School of Complementary Therapy & BeautyThis 4 day course is suitable for complete beginners in the holistic industry.

 

 

The course starts on Monday 20th April during the day between 9:30am – 4:30pm and also on the following days Tuesday 21st April, Monday 4th May and Tuesday 5th May.

The course covers:

  • The anatomy and physiology
  • An upper back, neck, shoulder, arm, scalp and face massage
  • Health and safety
  • How to work professionally and look after your clients

Apply make-up (VTCT level 2) – Cost of course – £395

Cheltenham School of Complementary Therapy & Beauty Make Up Training CourseRun during the evenings, this 6 day course starts on Monday April 20th and every Monday (not including the Bank Holiday Monday) finishing on 1st June.

 

 

 

 

 

 

The course covers:

  • Know how to set up a treatment area
  • Consult confidently with a client
  • Understand what tools and products to select and how to use them
  • Prepare the skin for make-up application
  • Provide advice to clients
  • Apply corrective make-up
  • Use make-up to enhance your client’s features
  • Use make up for normal day-wear, special occasions (including weddings) and evening-wear
  • Understand the anatomy and physiology relevant to the face
  • Be aware of health and safety

Manicures (VTCT Level 2) – Cost of course £395

Our evening course starts on Wednesday 22nd April and runs over 6 Wednesdays from 5:45pm – 9:15pm.

 

 

The course covers:

How to set up a treatment area.
How to consult with a client.
What tools to select and how to use them.
Softening nails.
Nail and cuticle preparation.
Finger nail painting; dark, light and French.
Paraffin wax and hot mitts use.

Pregnancy Massage (VTCT level 3) – Cost of course £250

Pregnancy Massage Training Course at Cheltenham School of Complementary Therapy & BeautyRun over two consecutive days, the Pregnancy Massage course builds on a Level 3 massage qualification.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The course covers:

  • benefits of massage in pregnancy and labour
  • contra-indications – when to avoid treatment in pregnancy and how to modify
  • understanding when to refer the pregnant client to a medical professional
  • in-depth information about pathologies common in pregnancy
  • pregnancy trimesters, how the pregnant body can change and what this means to the mother and the massage therapist
  • baby positioning
  • how to position a pregnant client comfortably, providing options to the client
  • uses of different equipment
  • how to provide a full body massage to a pregnant client, including abdominal work
  • using and adapting a variety of massage techniques
  • exploring pressure of movements and what we think might ‘hurt’ the client
  • providing a massage in pregnancy for relaxation and muscle-tension relief
  • appropriate choices of oils , including some pre-blended aromatherapy oils
  • considering the use of massage during labour and exploring the limitations
  • how to really help a pregnant client who feels uncomfortable, so they want to keep coming back for more!

We are located at 1 St Margaret’s Terrace on St. Margaret’s Road in Cheltenham.  Our spacious training room gives you the right learning environment. This is on a main road in Cheltenham Town Centre. Just up from The Brewery Quarter and Matalan.
