Cheltenham School of Complementary Therapy & Beauty run two Reflexology Diploma courses per year, with start dates being in September and February. There’s only 4 weeks until the September intake start their exciting journey, and there’s still a few spaces left on the course.
The Level 3 Reflexology Diploma we deliver in Cheltenham is accredited by VTCT (Vocational Training and Charitable Trust). It’s a recognised qualification, which means that professional organisations like AOR (Association of Reflexologists), FHT (Federation of Holistic Therapists) and CNHC (Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council) accept it and deem anyone with it as ‘professionally qualified’.
Reflexology is an amazing therapy. It is believed that it has been used for thousands of years and has travelled the world. In Western society Reflexology has really increased in popularity, with increasing anecdotal evidence of improvement in wellbeing after treatment.
Personally, I have a wonderful career as a reflexologist. I treat a range of people, with the youngest being just days old and the oldest being 80+ years young. The hundreds of feet I’ve worked on really do range in size! Most reflexologists are self-employed, although there are some employment opportunities. Like me, some people start working from home, whilst others offer a mobile service or rent a room in a clinic.
The Level 3 Reflexology Diploma isn’t all about feet though! There are 4 units in the qualification and these cover:
- Anatomy and Physiology
- Health and Safety
- Professional Practise
- Client Consultation
- Business studies
