I am very excited to introduce award-winning ScarWork therapist Emma Holly as a guest trainer at the Cheltenham School of Complementary Therapy and Beauty.
She’ll be sharing her knowledge with students on Monday 23rd September – 9:30am – 5pm for a one day workshop about ScarWork.
Emma is the leading ScarWork practitioner and trainer at Restore Therapy. Having been a massage therapist for over 23 years, her interest in this field developed when she attended a course in 2015. She learnt an advanced and gentle technique for scar tissue called ScarWork.
Since then, she has helped many people feel more confident about their bodies and improving the look and feel of the scar tissue after many operations. This has included breast cancer surgery, cesarean sections, hand injuries to foot surgery, facial scars to spinal surgery.
She is one of only 100 therapists trained in the UK in this work.
“I just love working with scars and seeing the difference treatment makes, both physically and emotionally. Being able to teach and share those skills is wonderful, as even more people can benefit.” Emma Holly
Find out more about the workshop and book your place, but be quick, as there’s only one place left!!
After the workshop – if you would like to develop this area of expertise, you can complete the full ScarWork certification course and become a ScarWork therapist.
