Have you been thinking of a change of career or learning a new skill?
Our Level 3 VTCT Swedish Massage course starts in January, running for 8 days, offering a fantastic way to learn new knowledge and practical skills too. This VTCT-accredited course is suitable for complete beginners, as we cover the Anatomy and Physiology, health and safety and client care information that you require in order to become a professional therapist.
At the end of the course, you’ll be able to provide a full body massage as well as the popular back, neck and shoulder massage. On successful completion of the course, you’ll be able to join a professional therapist association and purchase insurance for your recognised qualification.
With so much focus in the media on our well-being and mental health, now is a great time to learn a new skill that can give something back to people. Providing this service is also beneficial to you as a therapist too as it also helps you to relax.
Being a confident therapist is really important. So many courses out there offer shorter training dates, however you don’t always receive enough practical experience. We prefer to ensure you feel comfortable in your abilities and so provide clients during your training sessions at the Centre.
It is also important to have a good posture while massaging so that you don’t injure yourself. Our tutor Kerry, will show you how to use the weight of your body to help reduce any strain on your own muscles as well as correcting your posture. This will be invaluable for when you start your own business or work in a salon.
Course dates
This is the first time we have run the course in groups of days, rather than 1 day per week. We hope this will make it easier for students to travel and stay over in the local area if required.
Our Swedish Massage course runs on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday on the following dates:
20th/21st/22nd January 2020
10th/11th/12th February
2nd/3rd March
We provide enough time in between the course dates so that you can complete your theory and practical work at home before the next sessions.
Cost of the course
The Swedish Massage course costs £895 and you can secure your place with a £200 deposit. To book on the course, visit our booking website https://bookwhen.com/reflexologyandmassage/e/ev-s1gr-20200120093000
