About this course

This course is spread over 3 days, with an additional 1-day allocation beforehand to complete health and safety and anatomy and physiology work online. The online work must be completed at least 1 week before the 1st face-to-face session.

This course is suitable for complete beginners looking to start their massaging journey!

A link to the pre-course theory work will be sent to you to complete before day 1 of the face-to-face training.

About Indian Head Massage

This Level 3 Certificate is a qualification that has been specifically designed to develop your practical skills in how to provide the relaxing and stress relieving treatment of Indian head massage. This is a great treatment for people who suffer neck and shoulder tension, headaches and tiredness and is increasing in popularity.

Indian Head Massage is a great treatment to offer to clients, as it is an in depth upper back, neck and shoulder massage with head and scalp included. It is a wonderful treatment to be able to offer as a lot of clients won’t be aware of the benefits of this treatment!

  • aids the relief of migraines and tension headaches

In the course:

In this Indian Head Massage course you will be taught:
How to provide upper back, neck, shoulder, scalp and face massage
Anatomy and physiology
How to maintain health and safety
How to work professionally and look after clients

You will be required to complete some theory work at home, as well as practise your new skills, in-between taught sessions.

This qualification allows you to work as a competent and professional therapist and to become a member of a professional body, like the Association of Reflexologists or the Federation of Holistic Therapists.

All pre-course work and practical sessions must be completed for successful qualification.
