The Emergency First Aid at Work and the First Aid at Work qualifications are approved by the Health and Safety Executive. These courses provide employees with training needed to provide requirements of first aid in the workplace.
After a workplace assessment, employers will be able to understand the training that is required in order to provide the first aid provision for their staff. Factors to be considered include the hazards and risks in the workplace, the number of employees and known health conditions in the current workforce.
At Cheltenham School of Complementary Therapy & Beauty we offer both the Emergency First Aid at Work and the First Aid at Work courses, both of which are accredited by VTCT (Vocational Training and Charitable Trust). These First Aid courses also include training in the safe use of a defibrillator.
These qualifications are valid for 3 years.
