Our next Emergency First Aid at Work course is running on Monday 25th November from 10am until 4.30pm. This life saving qualification has been FHT accredited and will provide you with a certificate that will last for 3 years.
On this one-day course, we’ll help you feel confident in an emergency situation, and cover the responsibilities of a First Aider.
You’ll be taught how to administer first aid in a variety of circumstances; including when a casualty is:
- unresponsive,
- choking,
- wounded and bleeding,
- suffering from shock, or
- minor injuries (small cuts, burns etc).
You’ll also learn how to administer CPR and use an automated external
defibrillator.
Just one day of training can provide you with these life-saving skills.
Businesses, however small, need to at least demonstrate that they have a first aid kit and have an understanding of what is required of them.
Our course will give you a recognised qualification that meets the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) guidelines. It is also designed for anyone who wishes to learn about Emergency First Aid. You don’t need to be in a business in order to take part in the training.
