Beauty Facial Training

Skincare and Facial Training, Gloucestershire

There used to be a belief that beauty therapy training was an option for young women who finished school and didn’t know what to do next! Thankfully, with higher training standards and the real need for skilled and educated technicians, many people now see beauty therapy as a career for professional women and men.

Beauty therapy is a broad term for the ability to offer numerous services to clients. Some therapists train in the broad curriculum, studying waxing, facials, pedicures and manicures and more, whilst others choose instead 1 or 2 of the elements to focus on.  For instance,  is not unusual to see nail technicians who solely offer this service.  This is particularly the case for people who choose beauty therapy as a second way of earning income, perhaps offering a service in the evening or at weekends.

I think the thing that puts some people off beauty therapy training is the idea of going back to college, especially if a mature student considers studying with other people that might be half their age.

At Cheltenham School of Complementary Therapy & Beauty we specialise in working with mature students. We offer complete qualifications including waxing, pedicures, manicures, make-up, eyebrow tinting & shaping and more.  We also offer single units so you can pick and choose just the techniques you would like to learn.

All of our courses are accredited by VTCT and provide insurable qualifications, recognised by professionals. Our beauty therapy training is second to none and our Senior beauty trainer has 20 years experience in the industry.
