Kerry Baxter

Kerry is the Principal and Lead Tutor at our school in Cheltenham.

Qualifying as a teacher in 1996, Kerry taught in several schools in Gloucestershire before leaving to have a family. In addition to teaching children, Kerry also qualified in teaching adults, as part of a Government initiative, training teachers in numerous schools in Gloucestershire and Worcestershire.

In 2004, after having two children, Kerry signed up for a reflexology course – not knowing what the future would hold!  Little did she realise that this was the beginning of something very special.

Kerry went on to learn massage and established her own very successful business, from home, offering treatments to the general public.

Kerry’s passion for teaching together with her experience in holistic therapies made opening a Holistic Therapy School a natural progression. Kerry started small and initially ran massage and reflexology courses from a conference room in a beautiful hotel located in heart of the spa town of Cheltenham. For three years Kerry provided reflexology and massage courses, accredited by VTCT and FHT, alongside her busy therapy business.

With returning students and constant growth and demand, Kerry decided to take the big step of opening her own school in permanent premises in February 2014 and has not looked back since.

Cheltenham School of Complementary Therapy & Beauty offers a range of light and airy training rooms together with calm and relaxing therapy rooms and, together with her team, Kerry now provides training and hands-on treatments to her clients all under one roof.

Kerry is a qualified therapist, teacher and assessor and runs courses that are accredited by VTCT and FHT.
